Our team of educators works collaboratively to build comprehensive, engaging curriculums that complement each other and aim to connect all students to each other and the world around them.
Classes for ages 13 and under culminate in informal performances, called “shares”, at the end of each term. Shares are presented in studios and solely for family members and friends in order to create a supportive and comforting environment to celebrate each student’s creativity, growth and achievements.
Youth Dance Program
Guiding students of all levels, ages, and abilities to develop physical coordination and creative expression, our dance education program draws upon the dance traditions of jazz, contemporary, modern, ballet, hip hop, musical theater, and more!
Youth Music Program
The Music Program at SOTA is unique, as it offers an exploratory approach towards music-making. Creativity and curiosity are guiding forces, as children of all ages and skill levels gather to deepen their experience with music and sound. Individual skill development and inclusive ensemble building are equally important as we explore and celebrate the joys of music.
Youth Theatre Program
An interdisciplinary and holistic approach to theatre-making, acting technique, and a wide range of specialized theatre skills, our theatre program focuses on inclusive and intentional theatre-making that is culturally and socially responsive.
